Emmy M. Vickers is a nationally acclaimed speaker and charismatic business leader who gains joy from inspiring and teaching others how to use their most effective communications technology…the mouth…to grow a more productive business network. All too often, companies of all sizes neglect to embrace the power of networking as an effective marketing and productivity tool. Sometimes the neglect stems from a lack of knowledge; from fear, or sometimes from being bogged down in the daily details of operating a business.

After years of running EMVI Services, LLC (a business solutions and graphic design company) and four years of public speaking, Emmy found her passion…educating business executives throughout the country on “how to raise their net worth through building their net work.™” Hence, June 2008 Emmy founded Emmy Vickers Enterprises.

Emmy has trained thousands of entrepreneurs, company executives and sales professionals since 2004 from MD, DC, VA, CA, to Las Vegas and Clearwater, FL. She is the author of the highly anticipated word of mouth networking book “Out of the Box and Into the Black,” which is set to be released in 2009.

In addition, Emmy developed and created what she calls the “DPF 6 Step Process for Attending Any Networking Event” which assists business professionals to "raise their net worth through strategically building their net work™."

Emmy is now enjoying the extreme privilege of being coached by and working directly with some of the greatest business minds of our time including Bill Bartmann of Bill Bartmann Enterprises, Dan Vega of Vega Group International, Bob Yates of Circle of Champions, and author John Mason.

Emmy practices what she teaches in her workshops. In fact, using her love for helping others, Emmy overcame her own shyness through being an Ambassador, and then Sr. Director of Business Network International (BNI) for Prince Georges County, Maryland, the largest international word-of-mouth business referral organization. As of June 2008, Emmy accepted the role of Special Liaison/Regional Trainer for BNI Maryland/DC, where she helps professionals build quality working relationships that grow businesses.

Emmy believes that business should be fun and that individuals should be empowered to make decisions over their work. This is why, through coaching and at her workshops, you become the ringmaster while learning how to network with pizzazz in a non-threatening, compassionate, and nourishing environment. Emmy believes in thinking BIG, seeing beyond what is in front of you and helping as many people as you can. Emmy guides her audience to dream big, envision, and take action! She motivates, inspires and educates.

Emmy’s two-fold dream in the next 5 years (beginning 2018) is to form dynamic partnerships; touch and impact the lives of 300,000 people around the world through teaching them how to improve the way they build word of mouth networks both personally and professionally. In addition, help over 100,000 abandoned and starving children throughout the United States. Emmy is also a long time events volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-Atlantic, Inc., where she would like to help hundreds of children’s dreams come true through large contributions.

Richard Vickers is the Chief Information Officer for Emmy Vickers Enterprises, LLC. He has over 30 years of professional Program Management, Information Technology, and Management experience working in the Defense and Telecommunications sectors. He holds certifications in Program, Project, and Engineering Management. He is skilled in computer operations management, IT project management, government contracting, and software lifecycle management.

In addition to his professional skills, Richard has strong analytical, leadership, organizational, communication, writing, and interpersonal skills. He describes himself as results-oriented, resourceful, a team player, energetic, and dependable.

As a testament to his dedication to service, Richard received the prestigious Meritorious Civilian Service award for his excellence in working for the U.S. Navy.

Richard holds an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix. He earned his undergraduate degree from Howard University in Electrical Engineering.

Richard prides himself in “customer satisfaction – whatever it takes.” He helps lead organizations in successfully reaching their strategic IT project lifecycle, namely software development and management goals. He is certified by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management professional.

De’Lynn Boyd-Hale is a creative designer for Emmy Vickers Enterprises. She brings 20 years of creative skills ranging from logo design to web design and development. She has worked in administrative positions for 15 years, supporting upper level management at fortune 500 companies.

De’Lynn has her Master of Science degree from Rochester Institute of Technology. She studied Computer Graphic Design, Web Design and Development and Communications.

De’Lynn prides herself in being a positive motivator, good communicator, hard-worker and customer satisfaction driven. De’Lynn is not satisfied until her client is satisfied. She works well with clients to understand their requirements so she can turn the requirements into reality. Her creative skills offer a diversity in designs that make her creation "one-of-a-kind" designs.

Carolyn Sheltraw
Graphic Designer & Web Developer

Carolyn Sheltraw is a highly skilled graphic designer and web developer. She has over 15 years of experience.

Carolyn has a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the Univeristy of Michigan.

Carolyn prides herself in her creative skills and time managment. Projects are done quickly, correctly and to complete satisfaction. Her projects include: website development, web banners and social share graphics, brochures, postcards, flyers, newsletters, book covers and layout, and much more.
